One strain, one job.
Most probiotics on a pharmacy shelf list ten or twelve strains and promise to support everything. That is not what targeted probiotics actually do. A strain is a tool; a tool does one job; you pick the tool for the job in front of you.
Every Good One is built the same way: a shared Universal core of three strains (Bifidobacterium breve, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus) that travels in every adult bottle, plus two issue-specific strains picked for one body system. That's it. No twelve-strain kitchen-sink blend.
The pairs we ship
- The Regular One — gut. Two strains that produce short-chain fatty acids in the lower bowel, stimulating peristaltic rhythm.
- The Bright One — mood. Two strains that feed the gut-brain axis along the vagus.
- The Calm One — autism support. Two strains studied along the gut-vagus signalling line for steady focus.
- The Clear One — skin. Two strains that reinforce the gut-skin barrier layer.
- The Strong One — immune. Two strains that prime the gut-associated immune layer.
- The Lean One — metabolic. Two strains whose metabolites interact with GLP-1 and satiety signalling.
- The Mighty One — muscle. Two strains supporting nutrient uptake and the gut-muscle line.
- The Radiant One — women's daily balance. Two Lactobacillus strains. (Currently sold out.)
- The Little One — kids. A 4-strain Bifidobacterium-forward scoop, no universal core.
- The Gentle One — autism support for kids. Half-dose Calm One on a banana prebiotic, by the scoop.
Pick the body system, pick the One, swallow the capsule. If your concern is regularity, you don't want a strain that targets skin clarity. If it's mood, you don't want a strain that produces short-chain fatty acids in the colon. The strain is the choice, not the count on the label.
